I love making pies, especially apple, and I'm not so keen on having to clean up afterwards. My grandmother used a pastry cloth not only for making pies, but for rolling out the thinest sugar cookies, and her pastry cloth made clean up much easier as well.
Ours is printed with nontoxic, water-based ink on pre-washed, and shrunk 100% cotton army duck, with illustrations of a circular pie guide, blue birds and care instructions. The pastry cloth measures approximately 20" square and comes with a cotton storage bag.
To Use: Generously coat with flour and rub into the cloth, add flour as needed so dough doesn't stick.
To clean: scrape off extra dough and shake off remaining flour, fold and store in freezer. Wash when necessary in warm water, tumble or line dry.
Please refer to Care Instructions in our Store Info.

Commonly referred to as a Lewis Bag, our version is made from the same densely woven 100% cotton army duck that we use on our tote bags. This simple design enables you to crush ice cubes without a blender. The ice stays drier, as the cotton absorbs any melting ice, and is quick and easy to use.
Just fill the bag half way with loose ice cubes or insert the entire ice tray into the bag and twist to release the cubes. Fold the top of the bag over twice (I like holding it in my left hand) and pound away with a wooden mallet (in my right hand). Make nice crushed ice in any consistency you like and pour out. Hang ice bag to dry.
Hand screenprinted with non-toxic, water-based inks. Directions printed on back. Bag measures 9" x 18.25" and is sewn with heavyweight thread, hanging loop at top.
